Single 36yro who spends much of her time writing, talking, entreprenuing, cleaning house, walks, talks (oh did I say that? rhymes with walks) and......

What I love to do most is sing.  Singing in front of crowds, yes, excites and enthralls me.  I also love to draw and swim and am a fan of tattoos, motorcycles, classic rock and simple living.  I love long nature walks.

I swim like a fish I am told, which  is pretty fun, providing the pool is large for lap swimming.  I do however love the ocean and the lakes.  I love everything though and I don't mind how cold it is either.

 

I intend to become a Peer Counselor which is like a mental health therapist, but as a peer, which is ever more growing to be popular in this day and age where it not only saves money, but more importantly, is so much more helpful --in many ways--to struggling newbies in the mental health experience or long term ones hoping to improve the quality of their lives by learning coping skills and being informed of the many resources now available, as well as the most important thing of all: BEING UNDERSTOOD BY SOMEONE WHO HAS FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE!!

 

So, please, welcome, take a seat and read some of these articles, OR some of the many other articles I've written on poetry, cats, fashion, music etc.

When you look at me with pain in your eyes...

I sympathize

I feel for you

I want to

be there in whichever way I can

Don't take my kindness though

for weakness for I can bite

as hard as I bark!!!

You stare blankly ahead

with lack of emotion on

your face

But

I know in your heart there is sadness,

there are many thoughts troubling you

Please have faith that things will improve

You've got a friend in me.

I will be there for you

You will be seeing changes in my style of writing and notice several hubs are unpublished.  I have thought of doing this for a very long time.  These hubs are the past and are not who I am anymore, they are but a part of me I wish to leave mostly behind, BUT, I will not delete them and they WILL be made available in the future.

I hope you like my new style of writing.  I know I'm ready for a change!!
