I Am Happy Today ~ Why I Have Peace of Mind
Hello!
Well, I decided a while back to be peaceful. I think it was at least a few years and it's been a lot of work but has been fruitful. I no longer have controlling people dominating my life or my choices, I don't depend on others to make my decisions, and I don't have gossips in my life or unhealthy relationships. Mind you, I would love a husband to come home to, and even more people to do stuff with, but I choose to be alone a lot of the time to remain peaceful.
It is really important to me to maintain a spirituality in my life. I pray during the day, morning and evening and in between about a lot of things, and it helps me to keep a positive attitude! When I feel I need to listen to a Joyce Meyer sermon, I put it on my Chrome cast and watch!
God's Time
I know it's God's time when and if I meet a Godly man. I know it's God's time when I get a job that makes me happy (besides this writing job here.) And I know I can trust everything in God's hands including my recovery and my family things, and maintaining a daily life that does not fall prey constantly to temptation.
We need to fight the flesh! By "flesh" I mean not only the carnal desires but all desires of overeating or envy or any of the seven deadly sins. (Gluttony, sloth, envy, pride, lust, anger, and greed.) How we do that? By daily prayer and reading of the Word (bible.) And helping others also gives us great meaning in our lives and it's what God has called us to do. "Love your neighbor as yourself."
