What Happens When You Meet Mr. Right
When you meet "Mr. Right." What happens? I was twenty-two. We both lived in the same apartment complex. We were friends for a year. Things changed and time passed and seven years later we entered into a relationship.
The more unique a man is the harder he is to forget. I can say this man is the most unique I have ever met and possibly will meet....possibly.
I learned a lot through the good and bad. I learned about romance and love and have been working on myself for three years now since I ended it.
Things were tough for lots of reasons. I had a lot of growing up to do. I do know that.
If we ever greet again it will be done with the utmost caution to never make the mistake of hurting him again.
But the present is okay. I am free though I do long and miss those "things" that only "Mr. Right" can do.
I'm happy to be independent and free and yet I can see what I would like and how things could be.
What was Mr. Right like?
He cooked, cleaned, dressed impeccably neat. He was romantic though hardcore. He protected, made me feel safe, cherished and loved.
No man has done that since. I'm sure they are out there but none could replace. Replacements are impossible. I may embrace another down the road, God willing, if things go that way. I'm learning about myself more everyday and what a healthy and good relationship should and could be. I can see that I can only change myself and I intend to keep doing that. So one day I can be the wife of a happy husband!!! That's the title of a book I just started actually.
No man if perfect nor can I myself offer perfection either. That's pretty key to keep in mind.

The past loves
Become part of a haze
When you meet Mr. Right
He holds you in his firm gaze
You feel safe and loved
Protected when he stays
When you meet Mr. Right
You are no longer bored with ordinary men
Like little "boys" who need training
And that frustration is forgotten
When you meet Mr. Right
Romance begins
He woos you with flowers
And fast in love you fall with a grin
When you meet Mr. Right
The search is over
Just be sure to never forget
The treasure is golden
